The funeral service was held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Belize City at 1 :00 pm at St. John’s Cathedral, Belize City.
1984 - He was elected to the House of Representatives of Belize for the Freetown constituency
He served as Minister of Education (among other portfolios) under the UDP-led government.
1992 - He was declared bankrupt and consequently vacated his parliamentary seat (the first Belizean area representative to do so since independence)
He served under the United Democratic Party (UDP) initially, and at one point resigned to join the National Alliance for Belizean Rights (NABR) in January 1992 over opposition to the Maritime Areas Bill.
