Edith Marie Menzies Koehler

Edith Marie Menzies Koehler, affectionately known as “Miss Marie”, passed away at age 89 on July 12, 2025
in Brooklyn, New York, USA with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Edwin Menzies and Elna Pagett Menzies, on June 20, 1936, in British Honduras (Belize).

Edith was predeceased by her beloved:

She is survived by her:
Children: Odette Luna Jouali, Diana Luna Lugo, Anna Luna Cosme, and Alfredo Luna Jr.

Her memory lives on through thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, each of whom filled her heart with love and happiness.

Edith found great joy in ballroom dancing, bike riding, gardening, playing card games, and traveling to new and familiar places. She took immense pride in her family and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
